  In this album called "Three Stages of Decay," I want to express based on my personal experience how our minds and souls break down and degenerate over time.
  
  Life is filled with countless adversaries that may break our spirits. The severity of these shortcomings may convince us to give up and refuse to deal with them at all. Throughout this period of inaction, there will be a constant flow of extreme sadness, which makes us even more vulnerable for life’s adversaries. Eventually, we will reach a plateau in which we’ll be unable to remain silent. In this final stage which I call “decay,” we are ready to externalize all the damage we have been enduring. During this period of violence, our souls will degenerate even further, and who know what kind of person we will become.
  
  Disillusionment is a period of a deep disappointment caused by a certain life-changing discovery. This is what people call "when reality hits you in the face." It shatters our worldview and leaves us confused and frustrated, disappointed in the world and ourselves. Due to this disappointment, we will feel helpless, or even unwilling to face the reality that we had discovered. This period of inaction will lead to even more mishaps happening in our lives. If left unchecked, these mishaps will pile up and lead us to depression.
  
  In this track, there's a huge synth/organ that serves as the central subject. In the western world as well as some other parts of the world, the organ is often played in important religious ceremonies; in weddings, church masses, and even funerals, these ceremonies commemorate some kind of life-changing event. Thus the organ/synth combo symbolizes Disillusionment as a significant life-changing event. Each repetition of the chord progression are transposed to a lower key, representing the depreciation of the soul.
